Privacy Policy

How the game and this website handle information.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This policy covers the Path Gone Android game and this product website, operated by Fehistro Studio. It explains the current app's local storage, permissions and third-party services.

1. Game information stored on your device

Path Gone stores level progress, stars, achievements, unfinished attempts, daily challenge dates and rewards, hint tokens, cosmetic fragments, wardrobe unlocks, equipped items, and sound, vibration and reminder preferences in the app's private local storage. Google's consent tools also store information about advertising privacy choices.

The game does not require registration, provide public profiles or chat, or upload your game save to a Fehistro Studio server. It does not include a separate Fehistro Studio analytics or crash-reporting service. The current Android app disables Android app backup and does not provide account-based cloud saves.

2. Permissions and device features

  • Internet and network state: for advertising, Google's privacy messages and connection recovery.
  • Notifications: for an optional Daily Challenge reminder, when enabled and permitted by Android.
  • Vibration: for gameplay feedback when enabled.
  • Boot completion: to restore the reminder schedule after your phone restarts.
  • Advertising identifiers: Google's advertising SDK may access identifiers when allowed by Android settings, privacy choices and SDK configuration.

The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or precise-location access. You can manage notification permissions in Android Settings and game preferences in Path Gone Settings.

3. Advertising and Google services

Path Gone integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner and optional rewarded ads. Development builds currently use Google's test ad identifiers. Production advertising configuration is not yet finalized; this policy must be kept aligned with the released app.

Google's Mobile Ads SDK disclosure describes automatic processing of IP addresses, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. For example, an IP address may be used to estimate general location, while diagnostics may describe app or SDK performance. Google states that SDK data is encrypted in transit. Processing can vary with SDK settings, region and privacy choices.

See Google's Privacy Policy, advertising technologies information and Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure. Even non-personalized or limited ads can involve information needed to deliver ads and prevent fraud.

The app also integrates Google Play's update service to check for and offer app updates. Google Play operates under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Privacy choices

The app integrates Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising privacy choices when Google's service requires them. When available, open Settings → Privacy Choices to review those choices. Android's advertising settings provide additional controls for advertising identifiers. Available options vary by device, region and service configuration.

Advertising identifiers and regional privacy messages are still being configured for the app's production release. This page does not replace an in-app consent message or certify compliance with any particular region's requirements.

5. This website

This website has no account system, contact form, advertising scripts, analytics scripts or third-party fonts. Its mobile menu does not store preferences or set cookies. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

The site is prepared for Cloudflare hosting. When served through Cloudflare, the hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request times, to deliver and secure the website. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. This site does not itself create a visitor profile.

6. Retention and deletion

Game information remains in local app storage until it is reset or removed. Reset Progress clears game progress and restores game preferences; clearing app data or uninstalling can also remove the save. These actions can permanently remove earned progress, so use them only when you intend to start over.

Fehistro Studio does not hold a Path Gone account or cloud-save record to delete. Google and hosting providers retain information under their own policies and controls. If you contact the studio separately, information you choose to send may be used to respond to your request.

7. Children and privacy requests

Path Gone has no public chat or account registration. A parent or guardian with privacy concerns can contact Fehistro Studio. Audience settings and advertising treatment must be reviewed for the final app release; this page does not claim that the app has been certified for a particular age group.

Depending on your location, applicable law may give you rights concerning personal information, such as access, correction or deletion. Contact the studio about information you have provided directly. Requests concerning Google's services can also be made through Google's privacy controls.

8. Changes and contact

We will update this page when relevant app features, providers or data practices change. For privacy questions, use the contact information on the Fehistro Studio website. You can also visit Path Gone Support.
